Of german origin, Wolfgang Krause is living in Paris since 1982, he studied art with the painter CSATO in Paris from 1982 to 1983.
The poet and prizewinner of the french academy, M. Benard, wrote about his work:
"The artistic world of Wolfgang Krause is leaning to expressionism, but this world opens also to timeless spaces, to meditation and contemplation... , W. Krauses work restores a divine measure and a need for harmony."
W. Krause is prizewinner of the goldmetal of the french republic in Versailles in 2003.
He won the Abstractexposure Merit Award in N.Y. in 2008.
